Pre Easter Fun

Izzie is so much fun now.  She always has been, but now that she is talking so much and is aware of so much, it is just mind blowing and heart stealing!

We watered the pansies by the front door together this morning.  She still has the pansy pot that she took home a couple weeks ago by her little barn.

Here she was playing with some Easter eggs on Good Friday.  We then met Grandma for lunch at a Japanese restaurant, where Izzie was attempting to mimic Grandma and use her chopsticks. Iz also was flirting with the manager.  It dawned on me afterward that this was lunch with the now four generations...
I wish I had brought my camera.

Easter Blessings to all...
Mind blowing and....

Heart stealing cute!

Just Hangin' Out with the Sesame Street Gang

Izzie came to stay with me a couple times this week.  Recently one of her favorite things has been to line up the SS characters who ride in her Sesame Street school bus on a skinny little wooden arm of a chair.  It is quite a skill, even for me, and she has done a great job of doing this over the past month or so.

Here is a lunch time photo and a couple of pictures with the little SS characters.

Mac and cheese for lunch.  What a big girl!

Look, I did it again!

Looks like she is going for her favorite...Elmo.

Valentine's Fun

Izzie, Mom, Grandma, and I (GreatGram) met for lunch on Valentine's Day.  I rode to the restaurant in the back of the car with Iz, and she must have known it was a special day...she was cuter and more talkative and more charming than ever!

Here are some pix I took of her at the restaurant.  I should have gotten someone to take a group picture of all of us together.
Grandma likes to give me lemon slices
and then wait to see what happens.

Lemon face.
(Making my saliva glands work OT just looking at this!)

I'm everybody's Valentine!

I gave Izzie a few little gifts for the special day, one of which was a T-shirt with a sequined heart.  When she saw the shirt she said "heart" plain as day.  I was amazed.  Pretty cool for an almost 19 month old.  She has a good teacher!

Rockin' With Iz

Izzie and I have had some fun with rocking chairs over the past couple of months.

Here she is posing.  She knows what "take your picture" means now!

This Cracks Me Up!

Here is Izzie,
very involved in one of her Christmas books,
and very laid back in the rocking chair I gave her for early Christmas.
Too cool for school!
Gotta love it!

Pre Christmas Thru a Toddler's Eyes

Here are some photos I took December 14th
that I haven't had a chance to post.
I will post our early Christmas photos
over the weekend.

Merry Christmas, Everyone.

This was Izzie's first time meeting Frosty and
being serenaded by him.
It was love at first sight!

I know this might sound crazy,
but it looks like Frosty is just as happy
to sing and play for Izzie
as she is watching and listening!

Recent Photos

Wow, I am really behind in posting to this blog.

Here are a few photos I have taken of Izzie in the past couple of weeks.

Boo!

Iz in a Halloween shirt,
with her favorite, Elmo, in the background.
Here comes Great Gram,
getting in my face with that camera again.

This looks like a friendly ghost to me.

I like when Grandma lets me watch Elmo on her tablet.

Oooh, it's really getting good now.
It takes my mind off these new teeth that are popping through.
