Spending Time with Grandma Kilgore

I'm sorry I didn't have any photos to share from last Thursday, but we had mostly cranky time then.

Monday Grandma Kilgore got to baby sit with Izzie.  They shared some happier times, as shown below.

I hope those eyes don't
pop out of the sockets!

One Month Ago

One month ago was the day that Elizabeth Anne was born.  It's been really special getting to know you and spending some time with you.  Thanks for that wonderful smile yesterday!  I'll remember it forever.

A Lazy Summer Morning

This was Izzie's second time to stay with Great Gram while Mommy went to work.  After being kind of cranky the past couple of days, Izzie decided to give Gram an easy time of it.
Wow, I'm getting sleepy.

Wouldn't you love to sleep this soundly?

Izzie finally gets to meet Miss Giraffe.

Smile or gas?  GG says smile!

Missing Mommy

Here's what things looked like for the last ten minutes or so yesterday.
I think she was missing Mommy by that time!

Baby Sitting

Today was my first time baby sitting the 3week and 2 day old sweetie.
It was her first time with me, too!
She slept a fair amount, drank one bottle dry,
had a pretty good disposition until the
last 10 to 15 minutes and then got cranky!
Mom to the rescue just at the right time.
We're going to try round 2 next week.
Can't wait!

Evening Shadows

Izzie, Mom, and Dad came over tonight.
Mom and Dad (mostly Dad) put the crib together
while Great Gram and Izzie played.
Iz took a little time out
as the earlier evening shadows were setting in.

A Penny for Your Thoughts, Izzie

I wonder what she's thinking.

Love the little butt in the air and the cute little fingers and toes.

Sleep Time Gal

Izzie and her mom picked me up at the car dealer this morning and brought me home.
This sweet little thing was screaming when I got in the car.
I sat in the back seat with her and started tapping the bottom of her little foot,
and she quieted down.
Her formula was changed yesterday.
We're all hoping this makes for a peaceful and happy tummy!

Here she is packed up and ready to go home after some pampering time
at Great Gram's.  What fun.
